TOROS OUTLAST LEGENDS

Frisco, TX DEC. 15, 2011 – The Legends produced a number of personal season highs, but it wasn’t enough as the Austin Toros survived a tight match-up 118-115.

Vance Cooksey was sensational delivering 16 assists at the point guard position while pouring in 24 points. Booker Woodfox scored 20+ points for the fifth game in row, registering a season high 29 points against the Toros.

Bench play proved to be the difference in the game as the Legends were outscored 51-24 by the reserves. Eric Dawson for the Toros was the hot hand, making 10 of 15 shots for a team high 25 points off the bench.

Texas controlled the boards 49-42, in thanks to Ronald Allen who ripped down 16 rebounds for his season high while contributing 14 points and two blocks.

The Legends (1-7) now return to Frisco where they’ll face the Rio Grande Valley Vipers (5-4) on Saturday the 17th.
